Job summary

Endeavor Health NorthShore Hospitals in Evanston, IL, is recruiting an Epilepsy Neurologist to head the Epilepsy Section within Neurology. The program features a 4-bed accredited Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and intraoperative monitoring, with an academic appointment pathway through the University

Qualifications

• Medical license or license eligible in the state of Illinois.
• Completion of a one or two-year Epilepsy Fellowship (two-year preferred).
• Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Head the Epilepsy Section within Neurology and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee advanced epilepsy evaluation, monitoring, and treatment planning.
• Provide intraoperative monitoring during epilepsy surgery and EMU-based care.
• Contribute to clinical research and academic activities with institutional partners.
• Collaborate with the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine for academic appointment.
