Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Neurologist specialized in epilepsy to advance the UNC Epilepsy Division. The candidate will participate in clinic, EMU, cEEG for ICU patients, and other modalities, with opportunities for leadership in education, research and quality improvement.

Qualified candidates will have Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship, potential surgical training, and will join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care with strong institutional resources.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Neurology.
• Fellowship in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology.
• Surgical training ideal, but not required.
• Rank is dependent upon qualifications/experience; experienced candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advance the missions of the UNC Epilepsy Division through clinical care, education, and research.
• Participate in education, research, quality improvement, and progression to leadership positions.
• Deliver high-quality epilepsy care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to program growth and development in a NAEC-designated epilepsy center.
