Job summary

Legacy Health seeks an Epilepsy Program Director to lead outpatient epilepsy services, manage the EMU program, and supervise EEG interpretation. The role collaborates with a neuro-surgical team to evaluate patients for surgery and enhance NAEC certification efforts.

The position is clinic-based at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, with opportunities for research and teaching within Legacy Health.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Epilepsy and at least five years of post-graduate experience in outpatient epilepsy management and EEG interpretation.
• Experience with epilepsy surgery programs is preferred and helpful for NAEC certification efforts.
• Ability to collaborate with neurosurgery and lead a team to evaluate patients for epilepsy surgery.

Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient epilepsy clinic and EMU services.
• Oversee EEG interpretation and longitudinal patient care.
• Partner with neurosurgery to grow subspecialty epilepsy services.
