Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine in New York seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to coordinate direct patient care in an Epilepsy neurology practice, assisting faculty with outpatient and inpatient services. You will perform histories, physicals, order tests, and contribute to admissions under the Divisional Chief.

This role supports the clinical, educational, and academic mission, including teaching and mentorship through institutional training programs such as the WCM PA Program.

Qualifications

• NP license in NY with current NP registration and RN license.
• Board certification (ANCC/PNCB) required or in process.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical NP experience; new grads with RN experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient and/or inpatient epilepsy service.
• Assess patients with histories and exams; order labs/imaging and interpret results.
• Prescribe medications and interventions per standard of care.
• Document findings in medical records per policy.
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management.
• Collaborate with specialists and staff to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in performance improvement and research when applicable.
