Weill Cornell Medicine in New York seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to coordinate direct patient care in an Epilepsy neurology practice, assisting faculty with outpatient and inpatient services. You will perform histories, physicals, order tests, and contribute to admissions under the Divisional Chief.
This role supports the clinical, educational, and academic mission, including teaching and mentorship through institutional training programs such as the WCM PA Program.

Responsible for the coordination and direct patient care of patients in a busy Epilepsy neurology practice group; assists faculty members with efficient operation of their respective outpatient practices. Answers patient calls and handles all medication renewals. Performs medical histories, physical exams, and other nursing care and documents all findings appropriately as needed. Assists with hospital admissions to inpatient hospital unit. Reports directly to the Divisional Chief.
This role supports the clinical, educational, and academic mission of the institution. In addition to clinical responsibilities, this role may include teaching and mentorship through institutional training programs, including the WCM PA Program.
Approximately 2 or more years of clinical experience as an NP in a physician practice or hospital setting, preferably within a related specialty.
New graduates with related RN experience may be considered.
Prior experience or interest in clinical teaching, precepting, or academic program involvement in an advanced practice provider training program is preferred.
