Job summary

Albany Medical College's Department of Neurology seeks board-certified/board-eligible neurologists to join and expand our Epilepsy Division. You will work with colleagues, teach students and participate in a growing epilepsy program in New York's Capital Region.

The role includes EEG/cEEG/aEEG interpretation, supervision of residents, and opportunities for clinical or bench research with an academic appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology.
• Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
• Strong interest in education and mentorship.
• Commitment to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a collaborative environment alongside neurology colleagues.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, APPs and fellows.
• Perform and interpret EEG/cEEG/aEEG studies.
• Monitor patients in a 12-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (adults and peds).
• Participate in an Epilepsy Surgery Program and pursue research opportunities.
