Job summary

UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine seek a faculty member in the Division of Epilepsy within the Department of Neurology. The candidate should have completed at least two years of epilepsy fellowship and possess MD or equivalent with board certification in Neurology and Epilepsy, with PA licensure ability.

This role offers a sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive rank and base salary, plus six weeks of salary support for vacation and CME, and a faculty appointment

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years of epilepsy fellowship and have significant experience in adult patients, including those with drug-resistant epilepsy.
• Must have an MD or equivalent and board certified in Neurology and Epilepsy with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
• Prior experience or a primary interest in education or genetics / clinical trials is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Join the Division of Epilepsy within the Department of Neurology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neurophysiologists, neurologists, neuroradiologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, EEG technologists, APPs, epilepsy nurses and social workers.
• Support education, genetics and clinical trials interests as applicable.
