The Arkansas Department of Health, Division of Health Protection – Infectious Disease Epidemiology, seeks an Epidemiology Supervisor/Expert to lead a team of epidemiologists and public health professionals in disease surveillance, research, and data analysis. You will guide staff, oversee studies, ensure regulatory compliance, and translate complex findings into policy recommendations.

In this safety-sensitive role, travel may be required, and a state-wide impact awaits a seasoned public health

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Epidemiology required with 3 years in epidemiology or public health.
• Experience leading a team and supervising staff in epidemiology or health research.
• Proficiency in epidemiologic methods, data analysis, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a team of epidemiologists and health professionals and provide mentorship.
• Lead epidemiological studies, disease surveillance, and data-driven health insights.
• Oversee disease surveillance systems and collaborate with health partners.
• Coordinate investigations of public health emergencies and outbreaks.
• Develop and evaluate public health programs and translate findings for policymakers.
