Job summary

New Mexico Department of Health, Evaluation Section in the Injury and Behavioral Epidemiology Bureau (IBEB), seeks an analyst to lead evaluations supporting overdose prevention programs and federal grants. A Master’s degree in Public Health or related field and at least four years working with diverse partners are required; strong MS Office skills

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Statistics, or related field with 4 years of experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; experienced in collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience with federal grants and familiarity with drug overdose prevention work preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain evaluation projects and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to collect, analyze, interpret and report results.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and share findings with audiences internal and external.
  • Support development and implementation of evaluation and performance plans for federal grants.
