Job summary

Guidehouse Digital, LLC is seeking an Associate Epidemiologist to support public health analytics, surveillance, and data modernization initiatives. You will analyze health data, validate datasets, and develop reports and visualizations for decision makers.

You will collaborate with epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and data scientists on analytics and data modernization, while ensuring quality and reproducibility across deliverables.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience supporting epidemiology, surveillance, public health analytics, research, or health data activities.
• Experience with large datasets and statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python, SQL).
• Familiarity with epidemiologic principles and data quality practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze health data and surveillance data to support public health decision making.
• Validate datasets and prepare analysis-ready data.
• Develop descriptive statistics, trend analyses, and routine surveillance reports.
• Create dashboards and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support documentation such as data dictionaries and SOPs.
