Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Epidemiology/Surveillance Lead to provide scientific leadership for surveillance, analytics, and data modernization programs. You will guide multidisciplinary teams delivering high-impact public health data products and advanced analytic solutions.

You will translate complex findings into strategic recommendations for executive leadership, while supporting modernization efforts and business development within Guidehouse's Health AI/Data practice. 

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent residency is required and ability to obtain public trust.
• Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related field.
• 10+ years in epidemiology, surveillance, and public health analytics.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and programs.
• Proficiency with SAS, R, Python, SQL or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership for surveillance and analytics programs.
• Lead epidemiology methodology, data interpretation, and QA activities.
• Oversee development of datasets, dashboards, and reports.
• Guide advanced analyses, modeling, and population health metrics.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of epidemiologists, data scientists, statisticians.
• Translate findings into strategic recommendations for executives.
• Support data modernization through automation and cloud technologies.
• Engage in publications, conferences, and client briefings.
