Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking an Epidemiologist for a Nashville-based, hybrid 8-month engagement. The role focuses on overdose surveillance and coordinating a statewide multidisciplinary group within the Office of Informatics & Analytics, supporting data dashboards and timely visualization.

The ideal candidate has MPH or PhD with public health experience, strong communication, ability to lead large meetings, build partnerships, and proficiency in R/SAS/SQL and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Preferred MPH or PhD with public health / overdose surveillance experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with partners.
• Experience leading large-group meetings and coordinating stakeholders.
• Proficiency in R, SAS, or SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate monthly Overdose Working Group meetings with diverse stakeholders.
• Organize agendas, reminders, and notes for each session.
• Develop relationships with state agencies and health partners.
• Create and maintain a shared hub for meeting notes and resources.
• Support planning of an annual in-person meeting and travel logistics.
• Develop dashboards to communicate trends in overdose data.
• Document processes for reproducibility and transparency.
