Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Epicor ERP architecture and implementation programs.
• Design enterprise‑level Epicor solutions for complex manufacturing environments.
• Conduct business‑process discovery, requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and solution‑design workshops.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into scalable Epicor architecture and technical solutions.
• Define solution architecture covering Epicor applications, integrations, data, security, and reporting.
• Lead Epicor configuration, customization, integration, testing, deployment, and production rollout.
• Provide architecture guidance across manufacturing, production, planning, inventory, supply chain, procurement, order management, warehouse, and finance processes.
• Design integrations between Epicor and other enterprise applications.
• Provide technical direction for APIs, data migration, customizations, and reporting.
• Lead data migration and legacy transformation activities.
• Review Epicor environments and recommend improvements.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go‑live, stabilization, and post‑production activities.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide architecture‑level solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, plant teams, technical teams, and leadership.
• Create architecture documents, process flows, integration designs, and roadmaps.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Epicor Solution Architect with strong expertise in end-to-end Epicor ERP solution architecture and implementation within the manufacturing domain.

The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience leading complete Epicor implementations, from business requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, integration, data migration, deployment, and post-production support.

This is an architecture‑level position requiring the consultant to work closely with business stakeholders, manufacturing teams, functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to design scalable Epicor solutions aligned with manufacturing business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Epicor ERP architecture and implementation programs.
• Design enterprise‑level Epicor solutions for complex manufacturing environments.
• Conduct business‑process discovery, requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and solution‑design workshops.
• Translate manufacturing business requirements into scalable Epicor ERP architecture and technical solutions.
• Define overall solution architecture covering Epicor applications, integrations, interfaces, data, security, and reporting.
• Lead Epicor configuration, customization, integration, testing, deployment, and production rollout.
• Provide architecture guidance across manufacturing, production, planning, inventory, supply chain, procurement, order management, warehouse, and finance‑related processes.
• Design integrations between Epicor and other enterprise/manufacturing applications.
• Provide technical direction for APIs, interfaces, data migration, customizations, and reporting.
• Lead data migration and legacy‑system transformation activities.
• Review existing Epicor environments and recommend architecture, performance, scalability, and process improvements.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning, go‑live, stabilization, and post‑production activities.
• Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues and provide architecture‑level solutions.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, plant/manufacturing teams, technical teams, and leadership.
• Create solution architecture documents, process flows, integration designs, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience as an Epicor Solution Architect / Epicor ERP Architect.
• Strong understanding of Epicor ERP architecture, configuration, customization, integration, and deployment.
• Extensive experience within the manufacturing domain is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production, planning, BOM, inventory, procurement, supply chain, warehouse, and order management.
• Experience conducting requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, architecture design, and implementation planning.
• Strong experience with Epicor integrations, APIs, data migration, interfaces, and reporting.
• Experience leading complete implementation lifecycles from discovery through go‑live and stabilization.
• Ability to provide architecture‑level technical and functional guidance.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and customer‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional onsite/offshore teams.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Chicago, Illinois, 5 days per week.

Must‑Have Requirements

Epicor Solution Architecture + End‑to‑End Epicor Implementation + Manufacturing Domain Experience are mandatory for this position.
