Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks an ERP System Developer in Plymouth, MA to support and enhance Epicor ERP and related systems. The role focuses on development, customization, API integrations, and reporting within manufacturing contexts, collaborating with stakeholders across production, supply chain, and finance.

The position is hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) with a 6-month contract-to-hire pathway. Strong C#, .NET, and SQL skills are essential, along with experience in BAQ, BPM, and SSRS.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on manufacturing ERP development, customization, or technical support experience.
• Experience with Epicor ERP preferred, including Epicor Kinetic or Epicor 10.
• Strong development experience with C#, .NET Framework, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with ERP development and reporting tools such as BAQ, BPM, and SSRS.
• Experience developing APIs, integrating enterprise applications, and supporting data migration.
• Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, production, or finance business processes.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain ERP applications and integrations.
• Work with manufacturing and business stakeholders to understand requirements and improve workflows.
• Build ERP customizations, business process automation, and reporting solutions.
• Design and support integrations between ERP and other enterprise applications.
• Write and troubleshoot C#, .NET, and SQL code.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data interfaces.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and application validation.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Support ERP upgrades, maintenance, and performance improvements.
• Communicate development progress, risks, and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
