Job summary

Datamtx is seeking an experienced Epicor Developer to support the migration and modernization of a legacy ERP environment to Epicor Kinetic. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Epicor development, data migration, integrations, and customization while working closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership to ensure a successful deployment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Epicor ERP development experience (Epicor 10 and/or Kinetic preferred).
• Strong experience with BPMs and Epicor Functions.
• Experience with BAQs, Dashboards, and DataViews.
• REST/OData APIs experience.
• SQL Server, SSRS, and reporting development.
• Data migration and conversion activities.
• Experience supporting ERP upgrade, migration, or modernization projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Epicor Kinetic customizations, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, and Epicor Functions.
• Assist with legacy ERP to Epicor migration activities, including data mapping, data validation, and conversion support.
• Design and develop integrations using REST APIs, OData services, EDI, middleware, and third-party applications.
• Convert legacy customizations, reports, and workflows to Epicor Kinetic best practices.
• Support system testing, UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Epicor applications, integrations, and database performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and knowledge transfer materials.

THE ROLE

We have an urgent contract opening for multiple Epicor Developers with an emphasis on ERP Migration & Modernization.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Epicor Developers to support the migration and modernization of a legacy ERP environment to Epicor Kinetic. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Epicor development, data migration, integrations, and customization while working closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership to ensure a successful deployment. Relevant Epicor migration activities commonly include BPMs, BAQs, REST/API integrations, Kinetic UX modernization, data conversion, testing, and go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support Epicor Kinetic customizations, BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, and Epicor Functions.
• Assist with legacy ERP to Epicor migration activities, including data mapping, data validation, and conversion support.
• Design and develop integrations using REST APIs, OData services, EDI, middleware, and third-party applications.
• Convert legacy customizations, reports, and workflows to Epicor Kinetic best practices.
• Support system testing, UAT, cutover planning, and post-go-live hypercare activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Epicor applications, integrations, and database performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epicor Kinetic Application Studio and UX modernization.
• Knowledge of DMT (Data Management Tool), EDI, middleware, and integration frameworks.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain industry experience.
• Experience with cloud deployments and modern API-driven architectures.

• Successful migration of legacy ERP processes and data into Epicor Kinetic.
• Delivery of upgrade-safe customizations and integrations.
• Minimal post-go-live defects and strong user adoption.
• High-quality documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
