Job summary

Infirmary Health seeks an EPIC trainer to develop and deploy LIFECareU training for physicians, mid-levels, and staff. You will provide classroom training, manage logistics, and ensure materials are up to date.

You’ll coordinate with IT Education Designers and coordinators to support go-live activities. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in education/IT and have 2/4 years in clinical IT or medical education, with EPIC courses completed and certification eligibility, aiming for EPIC

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Education, IT, Informatics or related field.
• 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience in a clinical/medical IT or medical education environment.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must have completed all EPIC courses and be certification eligible.
• EPIC certification required within 6 months of placement into position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy LIFECareU training for end users.
• Provide classroom training for IT applications using curriculum and materials.
• Manage classroom logistics including setup, materials, supplies and equipment.
• Act as liaison between Help Desk, IT Department and its customers.
• Participate in go-live support activities.
