Salary Range: $57.09 - $94.18/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
  1. The Epic Training Manager is responsible for creating and executing the overall vision of the Epic Training program, promoting understanding, integration, and application of information and training technologies in healthcare settings.
  2. Planning and directing analysis, selection of methods, implementation, and support of the organizational Epic training program.
  3. Managing other applications like the Hoag LMS system that supports EHR training.
  4. Communicating training policies and procedures organization-wide and coordinating training activities and trainers.
  5. Overseeing all Epic training for the enterprise, including physician, clinician, clinical student, and non-clinical Epic user education.
  6. Leading a team of Principal Trainers, business analysts, and contractors.
  7. Determining training resources, managing staffing, curriculum delivery methods, and creating training schedules.
  8. Ensuring end-user training before access to Epic production environment is granted.
Education And Experience
  1. 5+ years as a training manager in healthcare or technology.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree with experience in healthcare computer applications/systems.
  3. Minimum 3 years’ experience with EHR systems implementation support or as an Epic Credentialed Trainer.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master’s degree.
  2. Knowledge of organizational culture, personnel, and processes.
  3. Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
  4. Ability to operate various computer software and AV equipment.
Additional Requirements
  1. Current CA driver’s license for local travel.
  2. Epic Certification in one or more modules through a formal Epic training program.
  3. Supervises Epic Training Analyst I/II/III.
