Baylor Scott & White Health in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a contract and reimbursement specialist to support managed care contracts within Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB). You’ll monitor contract performance, identify underpayments, and pursue revenue opportunities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle or related fields, with strong CMS knowledge and Epic HB/PB experience.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5 years of Managed Care or Revenue Cycle in healthcare.
Experience with CMS or Texas Medicaid programs.
Experience with Epic HB/PB or other EHR software.

Aufgaben

Configure payer reimbursement contracts in Epic HB and PB.
Translate contract terms, exclusions, carve-outs, and fee schedules.
Develop test scenarios for reimbursement calculations in HB/PB.
Research discrepancies and coordinate with care/finance teams for resolution.
Maintain payer-plan mappings to connect contracts to payers, plans, products and services.
Maintain build specs, testing evidence, approvals, and SOPs.
Explain contract terms and Epic reimbursement logic to Revenue Cycle and related teams.
Stay updated on CMS, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement rules and policies.
