Job Details:

The Epic Analyst is responsible for coordinating and participating in systems analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of the Dayton Children's Epic instance. This role requires understanding hospital workflows, processes, policies, and business operations, and participating in planning for future workflows. The analyst manages change and enhancement requests from users, performs in-depth workflow and data analyses, and evaluates development efforts for Epic system improvements. They maintain a strong knowledge of their specific Epic areas and related information systems, and participate in Epic training planning and delivery.

Department Specific Job Details:

Education:

• Required: Associate’s degree from an accredited program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program

Certifications:

• Required: EPIC Revenue Cycle Certification in one or more of the following: Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, Claims, Charge Router

Experience:

• Required: 1-2 years of EPIC building configuration experience, along with computer skills, customer service skills, and communication skills
• Preferred: 3-4 years of EPIC building configuration experience
