Baptist Health is looking for an Epic Provider Mastery Support Analyst to join our team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN
Under general direction, this role will be responsible for the application and integration of information technologyin the healthcare setting. The Mastery level analyst will be responsible for on-site, face-to-face workflow analysisand plan development and implementation to improve the clinical satisfaction and proficiency with Epic EHR. This position will serve as a liaison between the IT department and operations to align system design with operational processes for Baptist and Connect Sites. This includes data collection, advanced workflow analysis,
system user personalization, testing, training, and support. Participates in application deployment and proceduredocumentation. Ensures that the software build meets organizational goals and external mandates such asHIPAA and MIPS (Promoting Operability).
Essential Duties:
Performs one-on-one in person assessments and workflow reviews of Epic efficiency and proficiency forproviders and clinical staff.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Epic personalization and customization tools to improve efficiencyand proficiency for observed workflows.
Develops personalized, detailed, and comprehensive plans and partners with the clinician to determineways to integrate Epic more seamlessly into their daily routines.
Understands and can communicate Baptist policies and procedures on documentation standards andworkflows.
Continually assess end user workflows and identify areas for personalization or build improvements.
When needed, provide instructor-led classroom, virtual, and one-on-one training to end users inconjunction with the training and support team.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required
Bachelor's degree
Two years direct experience in ambulatory clinical setting, coding/billing or Epic implementation at the elbow support
Must be able to travel between Baptist facilities statewide, that may include overnight stays
Provider Mastery and Clinical Mastery in Epic credentialing in Ambulatory Provider: Subspecialties: OB/GYN, Cardiology, Surgery, Primary Care, Physical Therapy, Behavioral Health, Urgent Care, and Oncology
Must obtain Epic Credentialing in AMB Clinical or Provider application within 6 months
