Base pay range

$90.00/hr - $115.00/hr

Job Title: Epic Project Manager - Clinical/Inpatient PM

Type: Contract

Duration: 6-months

Location: Remote with travel 1 week per month to Rockledge, FL (All Travel Fully Paid)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Project Manager (Clinical/Inpatient PM) to support a major Epic project. This contract opportunity requires a skilled project manager with healthcare IT experience and a strong background in Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Epic Willow Ambulatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and outcomes

• Coordinate project phases from initiation through implementation and closure.

• Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical staff, IT teams, and administration.

• Facilitate communication to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.

• Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction and support.

• Foster a collaborative environment to encourage team engagement and productivity.

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Proactively address issues that may impact project success.

• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.

• Implement processes for continuous improvement based on feedback and outcomes.

• Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare IT project management.
  • Must have Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Epic Willow Ambulatory Experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project and change management practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Healthcare, or a related field (or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis, or Change Management.
  • Experience working in a healthcare delivery environment.
