CSI Companies is actively hiring for an Epic Pre-Service/Pre-Arrival Support Analyst to support our healthcare client during a large-scale Epic Go-Live.

Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday – Friday, standard business hours (EST)

Location: Remote (Must reside in the US)

Pay: $35/hour

Position Type: Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Epic professionals to assist during a large-scale Epic Go-Live. This role will focus on pre-registration, pre-arrival, scheduling, and prior authorization workflows, supporting both manual cutover and live Epic processes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of work queues (WQs), payer-specific authorization rules, and the Prelude and Cadence modules. Prior Epic Go-Live experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support pre-registration, pre-certification, and prior authorization workflows during cutover and Go-Live
  • Assist frontline staff with Epic modules such as Prelude, Cadence, and Referral Authorization
  • Monitor, manage, and escalate issues in authorization-related work queues
  • Help build and manage manual workflows for authorizations exceeding thresholds (e.g., over $5K)
  • Troubleshoot and triage real-time frontline issues, escalating critical concerns appropriately
  • Create or support work queues for Transplant authorization and other specialty services
  • Provide best practices and guidance to team members unfamiliar with new Epic processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in pre-registration, pre-service, or prior authorization roles
  • Hands-on experience supporting Epic Go-Lives, especially in Pre-Arrival workflows
  • Familiarity with Epic modules such as Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals
  • Understanding of payer-specific authorization rules and CMS guidelines
  • Experience with cutover support and temporary manual authorization workflows
  • Comfortable in high-volume, fast-paced environments

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Transplant verification/authorization processes
  • Familiarity with building or editing Epic work queues
  • Strong Excel skills or basic data entry/reporting capabilities
