Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking an Epic Analyst to support the PB Application and other business systems within the Clinical Information Systems team. The role involves configuring, testing, and maintaining the Epic PB software, participating in design and validation meetings, and supporting live deployments with on-call support and system optimizations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in IT or healthcare field with related training
EPIC PB Certification is required
Experience with process improvements
Experience in healthcare ambulatory setting preferred
Excellent analytical skills
Strong command of common office tools (MS Office)
Comfortable presenting workflow details to groups

Responsibilities

Maintain in-depth knowledge of Epic PB functionality and workflows
Analyze workflows, data collection, and reports related to Epic software
Collaborate with revenue cycle, clinical leadership, IT to identify root causes of issues
Submit system requests, track enhancements and upgrades
Design efficient workflows and edits for billing and revenue systems
Extract historical data for risk, trend, and forecasting analyses
Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for PB Coding leadership
Coordinate cross-department projects and end-user training
Prepare analysis reports for PB Coding leadership and external customers
