Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking a Healthcare Technology Manager to lead Epic HB initiatives within a collaborative consulting environment in the United States. The role focuses on optimizing Epic systems, delivering sustainable solutions, and partnering with clients to drive meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

5+ years of Epic experience, preferably with Epic HB expertise.
Current Epic Hospital Billing certification is required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
U.S. permanent work authorization is required.
Experience with Epic implementations, optimizations, or revenue cycle transformation projects.
Strong understanding of Epic HB workflows, revenue cycle operations, and technical build processes.
Ability to recommend solutions and advise clients, not just execute builds.
Travel is required based on client/work needs; current average is less than 50% annually.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Epic HB subject matter expert on client engagements.
Partner with stakeholders to assess workflow needs and recommend Epic best-practice solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications during design sessions.
Support Epic HB optimization initiatives including workflow design, build guidance, testing, and deployment.
Complete Epic builds directly or with client analysts to ensure effective solutions.
Communicate clearly with revenue cycle leadership and IT teams, tailoring messaging.
Contribute to broader project delivery, team collaboration, and long-term capability building.
