Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an EP Technologist Float to assist with invasive electrophysiology procedures and device-related support. The role involves patient monitoring, sterile technique, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff across campuses.

Responsibilities include data collection for outcomes improvement, and cross-site coverage at Overland Park Regional and Menorah Medical Center as needed. Strong ECG interpretation and arrhythmia skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Cardiovascular or Radiographic Tech program or equivalent with 2 years of clinical experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of start date.
• RCES certification preferred.
• 1 year of cardiovascular experience with arrhythmia and 12-lead ECG interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology procedures under supervision.
• Monitor patient status during EP procedures and ensure sterile technique.
• Collect data for databases, outcomes, and performance improvement.
• Support the supervisor in duties to keep the department running efficiently.
• Provide care at Overland Park Regional and Menorah Medical Center campuses per Market Pool.
