Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Clinical Informatics, along with extensive IT experience in a healthcare setting and Epic project leadership experience. Strong communication skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems/Clinical Informatics field OR four years of related IT experience in a healthcare environment.
• Certification for at least one Epic Clinical Application – Ambulatory.
• Eight or more years of experience within IT.
• Five years of experience in a hospital or healthcare organization.
• At least two years of Epic project and/or Epic team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Epic Clinical applications within the Harris Health System.
• Ensure operational interests of functional areas are represented in Information Systems operations.
• Provide hands-on clinical patient care in a hospital or clinic setting.
