Position: EPIC Clarity Clinical Informatics Specialist (Job ID # 2888015)

Duration: 6 months + Strong Possibility of Extension

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Epic Clarity Data Model and/or Epic Radar and/or Epic Reporting Workbench with 3-5 years application reporting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of business intelligence functions, advanced analytics, industry standards and best practices.
  • Advanced expertise in Epic clinical and administrative workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex regulatory reporting using data to provide insights to decision makers. Identify trends and patterns in datasets. Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on data and market knowledge.
  • Collaborate with business and clinical units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Create specifications for reporting and EHR tools based on standards and data elements.
  • Optimize enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data filters and indexes that add value.
  • Report to the Regulatory and Quality Reporting Manager. Responsibilities include data collection, metric validation, performance measurement, benchmarking, and visual analytic presentation.
  • Work with clinical, business, and IT partners to identify analyses and reports to inform strategic regulatory decisions.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives across domains like Primary Care, Specialty Care, Inpatient Care, and Resource Utilization.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based clinical processes related to preventive services, chronic disease management, and reducing preventable visits.
  • Ensure accurate and actionable data reporting to stakeholders.
  • Assist in demonstrating improvements in population health outcomes and healthcare utilization through analysis and collaboration.
