Job summary

COMMUNITY HEALTH OF SOUTH FLORIDA INC is seeking a Patient Access Systems Assistant to manage Epic templates and patient access workflows in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The role requires coordinating provider templates, handling scheduling changes, and ensuring accurate access across platforms such as Epic, MyChart, and Solution Reach.

Candidate should have Epic Cadence/Prelude experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• 2+ years' Epic Cadence/Prelude scheduling experience.
• Experience with MyChart patient engagement.
• Ambulatory clinic scheduling template experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Create/update clinic and provider templates in Epic Template Edit Module.
• Process schedule changes due to PTO, relocations, or demand.
• Collaborate with Scheduling Operations Analysts and clinical leaders to support access.
• Maintain template integrity through regular system audits.
• Develop documentation and policies for templates and scheduling workflows.
• Serve as a content expert for template builds in project meetings.
• Communicate reschedules to patients to ensure proper handling.
• Monitor Epic In-Basket and Solution Reach messages related to scheduling.
