Job summary

Vytal Health Partners in the United States seeks an experienced Epic Bridges Analyst to serve as the primary contact for VHP interfaces and data conversions. You will coordinate analysis, design, and issue resolution to implement and maintain interfaces, collaborating with interface and technical teams to meet end-user needs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT or a related degree with experience in Epic EHR systems and the full interface development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an IT-related role or a Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of experience
• Experience with EHR systems, specifically Epic
• Active Epic Interface (Bridges) certification
• Willingness to travel 25–50% to offsite locations

Responsibilities

• Manage the full interface application development cycle — analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support
• Support data conversion efforts alongside interface work as needed
• Partner with application teams, SMEs, and third-party experts to determine business needs, document requirements, and configure interfaces accordingly
• Diagnose and resolve interface-related issues, providing timely support
• Coordinate testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live with SMEs, vendors, and interface engine developers
• Work with interface engine developers to build data-translation routines meeting EHR and external system requirements
• Monitor live interfaces proactively and develop permanent solutions with experts

Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Epic Bridges Analyst to serve as the primary support contact for VHP interfaces and data conversions, coordinating the analysis, technical design, and issue resolution needed to implement and maintain them. You'll work closely with interface application teams and technical teams to make sure interfaces align with end-user needs.

What you will do

• Manage the full interface application development cycle — analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support

• Support data conversion efforts alongside interface work as needed

• Partner with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to determine business needs, document requirements, and configure interfaces accordingly

• Diagnose and resolve interface-related issues, providing timely support and collaborating with experts as needed

• Coordinate testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live with subject matter experts, vendors, and interface engine developers

• Work with interface engine developers to build data-translation routines that meet EHR and external system data and format requirements

• Monitor live interfaces proactively and collaborate with experts to develop permanent solutions

What will make you successful here

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in an IT-related role, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2+ years of experience

• Experience working with EHR systems, specifically Epic

• Preferred: experience managing the full interface application development cycle

• Preferred: experience with the Mirth Interface Engine

Certifications

• Active Epic Interface (Bridges) certification

• Willingness to obtain additional Epic certifications as needed

• Ability to coordinate multiple players (vendors, subject matter experts, interface engine developers, end users) to design, configure, and test interfaces

Other Requirements

• Flexible schedule: some evenings and weekends required

• Willing to travel 25-50% to VHP outlying offices, including overnight stays
