Position Overview

The Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Hospital Billing Trainer (Learning Analyst I) delivers personalized and generalized learning programs, including workflow design, training, documentation, and workshops to OCHIN members. The Learning Analyst may specialize in specific subjects, training programs, or organizational functions, and monitors the effectiveness of workflows and training through performance results and feedback. Training programs may cover clinical or operational workflows, Practice Management, Primary Care/Specialty, Acute Care, Behavioral Health, Dental, Revenue Cycle, Professional Billing, Hospital Billing, and Reporting. The Learning Analyst develops and maintains related documentation, videos, and workflows.

Essential Duties

  • Delivers engaging training that meets objectives while promoting OCHIN best practices.
  • Performs workflow validation within the OCHIN Epic System.
  • Provides feedback on training, workflows, documentation, and videos.
  • Contributes to new learning program design and enhances existing programs, including creating lesson plans and training aids.
  • Creates and updates notifications for new or revised learning materials.
  • Facilitates workflow design sessions to discover member operational and custom workflows, promoting best practices.
  • Analyzes member feedback from sessions to improve training and workflows.
  • Supports members with their Epic system build and integration, covering clinical and operational workflows across various areas.
  • Utilizes diverse instructional modalities (tutorials, digital interactives, guides, scripts, quizzes, etc.) to optimize adult learning.
  • Develops engaging, inclusive, and adaptive learning materials for all levels.
  • Acts as a workflow resource for members and teams.
  • Designs and maintains courses with clear learning objectives, interactive experiences, and assessments.
  • Prepares written deliverables such as user guides, facilitator guides, workbooks, scripts, and workflow maps.
  • Creates and manages interactive and non-interactive video content.
  • Maintains OCHIN’s workflow knowledge base.
  • Facilitates User Acceptance Testing for new members.
  • Supports the development of new training programs and enhancements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
