Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking a Staff Applications Analyst to support Epic Referrals, analyzing user needs and designing solutions within the health system. The role involves building system configurations, documenting procedures, and guiding testing and deployment to ensure reliable operation.

You will participate in cross-functional design sessions, provide on-call support, and collaborate with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, health informatics or computer science.
• Must be certified in Epic module(s) appropriate to area within 90 days of training.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, implements and supports IT resources at enterprise level.
• Leads design sessions with end-users and cross-functional teams.
• Performs troubleshooting, vendor coordination and system upgrades.
• Ensures adherence to IS standards and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
