Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma seeks an Epic Applications Analyst Level 2 to implement, configure, and maintain Epic and other clinical applications. You will work closely with clinicians and IT staff to ensure usability and efficiency of the EHR and related tools.

You will collaborate with end-users and vendors, participate in testing, document configurations, and support patient care through reliable clinical software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience, or Associate’s with 2 years of experience, or 3 years of healthcare or IT experience.
  • Epic Certification is required (certifications may include: EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, Radiant, Cupid, Optime, Anesthesia, Grand Central or other relevant Epic Apps).
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows and processes, and experience in implementing and supporting clinical software applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to clinical staff members and other stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Epic Applications Analyst Level 2 will implement, configure, and maintain Epic and other clinical applications, including the electronic health records (EHR), clinical decision support systems, and other clinical software.
  • Collaborate with clinical end-users, IT staff, and vendors to identify opportunities for improving clinical workflows and processes using technology.
  • Participates in system testing and validation to ensure the clinical applications meet regulatory requirements and user needs.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure documentation is accessible to support staff and end-users.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities related to Epic software upgrades and enhancements. Ensure that system changes do not negatively impact clinical workflows and patient care.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with clinical applications, and provide timely resolution to minimize impact on patient care and clinician productivity.
  • Keeps up to date with solutions in the Epic System or other clinical application.
  • Works collaboratively with operational and medical staff leaders to implement and align strategic initiatives.
  • Participates in all phases of the system development life cycle including development of use cases and evaluation of software solutions.
  • Participate in rounding in collaboration with clinical and business end users.

The Epic Application Analyst level 2 will be responsible for implementation, maintenance, and support of clinical applications used within the healthcare organization. This role will work closely with clinical end-users, IT staff, and vendors to ensure the clinical applications are optimized for usability and efficiency and meet the needs of clinicians and patients.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to clinical staff members and other stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacing preferred.
