Shriner's Children's is seeking an Epic Application Analyst focused on security and IS support for Epic applications. This remote-friendly role supports clinical and business workflows, with the HQ located in Tampa, FL.

The analyst ensures certifications stay current and collaborates across teams to optimize Epic solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing needs, designing solutions, and maintaining user interfaces while navigating clinical information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent clinical or information services experience.
• Epic Certifications in one or more Epic applications (required within 180 days of hire).
• Preferred: Resolute Hospital Billing Administration certification, Charge Router certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews assigned portions of business or clinical operations to identify information system needs.
• Defines processes, problems and requirements; performs cost/benefit analyses.
• Performs design and analysis for clinical and business information systems to meet client needs.

The Epic Application Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining a clear knowledge of their respective application and workflows associated with that application. They demonstrate excellent presentation skills, and have an excellent ability to answer end-users questions related to their application. Epic application analysts are responsible to keep their Epic certifications up-to-date and active**Key Responsibilities*** Reviews assigned portions of business or clinical operations to identify clients' information system's needs* Defines processes, problems and requirements; performing cost/benefit analyses* Performs assignments for the design and analysis of clinical and business information systems to meet client's needs.* Develops and/or modifies custom applications software.
