Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an Epic Analyst III to lead administration and optimization of Epic EHR environments. The Data Courier Administrator and Environment Analyst will drive migrations, releases, and governance, partnering with analysts and technical teams to deliver stable, upgraded systems that support safe, high‑quality patient care.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of relevant IIS, clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Epic Certification in one or more modules required; Data Courier experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting Epic applications, environments, and Data Courier migrations within a healthcare organization.
  • Knowledge of change control, testing methodologies, and release management practices for enterprise healthcare systems.
  • Familiarity with Epic technical infrastructure and ability to partner with technical teams to support system stability and performance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in systems integration, data management, healthcare IT, and workflow automation, plus understanding of system architecture, database design, and project management in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate user needs into system functionality.
  • Operational experience in healthcare settings and ability to use operational insights to inform system design and workflow optimization.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

Data Courier Administrator and Environment Analyst

Overview Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody excellence, compassion, teamwork and purpose to join our IS Epic team as an Epic Analyst III.

Job Description The Data Courier Administrator and Environment Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Epic EHR environments, ensuring system stability, reliability, and readiness across production and non-production platforms. This role oversees build migrations through Data Courier, coordinates release activities, and promotes strong governance practices that support high‑quality clinical and operational workflows. The analyst works closely with application analysts, technical teams, and operational leaders to deliver seamless upgrades, new functionality, and ongoing system enhancements, enabling clinicians and staff to provide safe, effective, and exceptional patient care.

Reports to: Epic Applications Manager

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7 years of relevant IIS, clinical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Epic Certification in one or more modules required; Data Courier experience preferred.
