Job description

Epic Ambulatory/Orders Transmittal/3rd Party Integrations Analyst

Our client is looking to hire an Epic Ambulatory/Orders Transmittal/3rd Party Integrations Analyst to join their team for a full-time remote opportunity but must be located near the San Diego, CA area (or relocate).

This role is part of a collaborative team of seven dedicated analysts and offers the opportunity to play a key role in their growth.

As an Epic Ambulatory Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and plan builds. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating third-party systems with Epic (specific third-party applications are not required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement system solutions to enhance the full spectrum of Epic Ambulatory.
  • Lead application and system installation, formulating system scope and design objectives through thorough analysis and research.
  • Configure vendor-maintained systems or develop and modify in-house systems, coordinating efforts across users, ISD staff, and vendors.
  • Conduct research and analysis, prepare project deliverables, and develop detailed specifications for vendor system programming and configuration.
  • Contribute to team deliverables, ensuring project goals and performance outcomes are met within established timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Epic Ambulatory; certification required (or at least 5 years of experience if not certified).
  • Experience with third-party system integration with Epic.
  • Strong build experience in Ambulatory, including smart tools, navigators, orders, order transmittal, rules, and workflow.
  • Experience with Pediatrics is a plus, but not a requirement.

  • Local candidates preferred.
