Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking a Clinical Informatics professional to support ambulatory and outpatient clinics by optimizing EpicCare Ambulatory functionality across medical and specialty services. You will collaborate with clinical and IT teams to enhance documentation, workflows, and end-user education, ensuring efficient, patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes training physicians and staff, applying change management, and delivering system enhancements within a complex health system.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare and/or Information Sciences or licensed healthcare professional (RN, RT, PT, etc.) is required.
Five years of direct work experience in an acute care, ambulatory or home care setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Knowledge of Epic and ability to train physicians and staff to adopt new workflows.
Strong knowledge of change management and adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

Define system requirements for content and integration into workflow.
Perform workflow analysis to optimize design and content for practice.
Lead and consult with teams in EMR specification and design for order management and data provisioning.
Develop test plans and report results for application and system testing.
Provide training and develop end-user documentation and learning aids.
Act as expert resource to staff for EMR-related issues and education.
