Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking an Epic Application Analyst, Ambulatory to design, build, test, implement, and support information technology solutions that meet clinical and operational needs. You will work with customers to document requirements and communicate changes effectively.

The role requires Epic Certification in Ambulatory, with Order Transmittal certification preferred, and participation in on-call rotations. A BA/BS degree or equivalent clinical experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical setting.
• BA/BS Degree or 5 years of equivalent clinical or information services experience.
• Must hold current Epic Certification in Ambulatory.
• Epic Certification in Order Transmittal preferred and would be required to obtain following hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing assigned portions of business or clinical operations to identify clients’ information system’s needs
• Defining processes, problems and requirements; performing cost/benefit analyses
• Performing assignments for the design and analysis of clinical and business information systems to meet clients' needs
