SYSTEM West Virginia University Health System is seeking an Epic AI Enablement Specialist to coordinate deployment of Epic AI capabilities across clinical and operational areas. You will partner with Epic teams, informatics, and leadership to gather requirements and design workflows that maximize value.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma plus 5 years in healthcare IT, Epic apps, informatics, operations, or related IT experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 3 years in healthcare IT, Epic apps, informatics, operations, or related IT experience.
  • Internal employees must meet mandatory competencies in current role for IT promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate implementation and deployment activities for Epic AI products across multiple areas.
  • Partner with Epic teams, informatics, leaders, product managers, and technical teams for delivery of Epic AI solutions.
  • Assist with intake, discovery, workflow assessment, and requirements gathering for Epic AI initiatives.
  • Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities where Epic AI can improve efficiency or user experience.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, pilot activities, and deployment readiness for Epic AI products.
  • Develop implementation and communication plans, plus operational support resources.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and cross-functional implementation activities.
  • Monitor adoption and user feedback following implementation.
  • Ensure products comply with governance, monitoring, and review requirements throughout lifecycle.
  • Maintain awareness of Epic AI roadmap and communicate opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Serve as SME for Epic AI capabilities and implementation approaches.

High school diploma AND five (5) years of professional experience in healthcare information technology, Epic applications, clinical informatics, healthcare operations, product implementation, project coordination, or relatable IT experienceOR2. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Clinical Informatics, Nursing Informatics, Business Administration, or related field AND three (3) years of experience in healthcare information technology, Epic applications, clinical informatics, healthcare operations, product implementation, project coordination, or relatable IT experience.3. Current Epic certification(s) in one or more Epic applications.**EXPERIENCE:**1. Experience coordinating or supporting healthcare technology or Epic implementations involving multiple stakeholders and departments.2. Experience coordinating healthcare technology implementations involving multiple stakeholders and departments.3. Experience gathering business, operational, or clinical requirements and translating them into implementation plans.4. Experience supporting adoption, training, change-management, or operational readiness activities.5. Experience participating in governance, compliance, privacy, security, or risk management processes.6.
