Coherent Corp. in Sherman, TX seeks an Operations Technician to support on-shift activities and ensure smooth cross-shift handoffs while maintaining VCSEL/PD production.

You will run and read SPC charts, perform basic OCAPS, and train staff on Work Instructions, collaborating with Engineering on new workflows, process development, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or higher and 2-4+ years of related experience.
• MS Office knowledge required.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC).

Responsabilités

• Run and read SPC charts
• Perform basic OCAPS.
• Perform additional characterization techniques as required
• Train operations in Work Instructions
• Assist Engineering with new workflows
• Assist Engineering with new process development
• Assist Engineering with data gathering and analysis
• Write new work instructions for Operations
• Work with other process areas if needed

Working Conditions

• Work in clean room environment.12 hour swing shift. Night Shift
