Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 3+ years of utility substation design experience.
• Experience with SKM, ASPEN, ETAP software.
• Experience with EPC turnkey projects preferred.

Job description

To support a dynamic EPC Solutions organization, the full-time EPC Substation Engineer will perform physical electrical engineering design, protection and control engineering design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while adhering to project standards and requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform substation physical electrical and protection/control engineering design at HV and EHV voltage levels
• Prepare project deliverables including engineered drawings, technical reports, and project documentation
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and assist in quality control reviews and technical oversight for project teams

Required qualifications

• B.S. degree in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited university (Electrical preferred)
• 3+ years of prior relevant experience in utility substation design
• Familiarity with electric infrastructure and principles of substation engineering
• Experience with engineering programs and software (e.g., SKM, ASPEN, ETAP)
• Experience with Engineering, Procurement & Construction turnkey projects for electric utilities is strongly preferred
