Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Engineer to support a Peoria, IL jobsite. The role involves coordinating deliverables, attending meetings, and maintaining drawings, logs and safety plans.

Travel and field work are required in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on cost control and schedule adherence. Responsibilities include submittal management, document distribution, and updating master CPM schedules, with CMiC experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction projects and field coordination.
• Ability to read plans, drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with CPM schedules and cost reporting.
• Proficiency with English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Attend and document project meetings; write minutes.
• Set up and maintain electronic filing systems and logs.
• Update drawings, specifications and logs; manage PCI logs.
• Assist with CPM scheduling and master schedule updates.
• Maintain safety plans and pre-task planning processes.
• Distribute documents to subcontractors and maintain logs.
• Review, analyze, and transmit submittals; maintain submittal logs.
• Prepare submittal and procurement logs; perform expediting as needed.
• Code labor costs on timesheets; verify quantities for cost reports.
• Prepare, document, and administer extra work orders.
• Review change orders and quantity surveys; closeout docs.
• Maintain PCI log in CMiC; ensure data integrity.
• Support quality management and BIM-related tasks.
• Complete other assigned responsibilities by management.

This position is team oriented, fast paced and responsible for the coordination and completion of the assigned projects.This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Peoria, IL and will require travel.
