Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an EPC Project Engineer to join our on-site team in Childress, TX. You will coordinate project deliverables to ensure profitability and schedule goals in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining solar equipment across multiple plants, performing testing and troubleshooting under supervision, and supporting improvements with EPC management. Travel up to 10% and on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training a plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to identify and perform Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
  • Basic solar installation knowledge.
  • Proficient in basic testing equipment and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety; ensure all employees follow safe practices on site.
  • Operate and care for company equipment, tools, and solar assets.
  • Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
  • Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  • Replace or repair solar parts under supervision; participate in on-call duty.
  • Prepare accurate reports and documentation of work performed.
  • Collaborate with EPC management to implement process improvements.

This position is team oriented, fast paced and responsible for the coordination and completion of the assigned projects. This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Childress, TX.
