Job summary

Jedson Engineering is seeking a Project Director - EPC to lead high-value power projects in the US, with project scopes from design through commissioning. The role interfaces with clients, leads the engineering team, and guides project controls, procurement, and construction to deliver on time and within budget.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development activities, prepare proposals, and manage risk while ensuring compliance with project objectives and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.
• 15 to 25+ years of related project experience.
• Experience leading EPC power projects: lump sum >$150MM or reimbursable >$500MM.
• Strong understanding of Project Controls and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Clarify goals, deliverables, and outcomes of the project.
• Participate in Business Development activities from conception through client management.
• Lead and/or contribute to risk reviews and contingency planning.
• Involved in FEED or equivalent, producing detailed execution plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee detailed design, procurement and construction, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee commissioning and project close-out, including turnover documentation.
• Manage Project Services functions: Document Control, Scheduling, and Cost Management.
• Mentor and develop other employees within the organization.
