EPC Construction Project Manager (Power Block / Electrical Distribution Equipment / Switchgear)

Role Overview

The primary duties of the Project Manager are to ensure the safe, timely, and budget-compliant installation of DI equipment, adhering to project specifications. Responsibilities include project initiation, overseeing production and procurement, managing budgets, schedules, and project closeout.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Requirements include:

  • High School Diploma with 5+ years in construction or energy industries, or BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • CAPM or PMP certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Computer literacy with standard office software.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents.
Skills and Abilities
  • Punctuality, organization, professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of project management, construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining quality and customer service.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Construction Managers, Subcontractors, Internal Resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain safe work sites following standards and legal requirements.
  • Lead initial project meetings.
  • Review contracts, assess sales pricing, develop budgets, and create project schedules.
  • Coordinate production and procurement releases.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage project installation comprehensively.
  • Ensure timely execution and communication with senior staff.
Physical and Work Environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Travel required (50%+), including driving and flying.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven terrain.
  • Work outdoors in varying climates, exposure to noise, energized electrical equipment, overhead hazards, and machinery.
