Job summary

HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking an EP Technologist to join the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs. The CVT assists the cardiologist with invasive procedures and maintains a safe environment for the patient.

You will monitor, scrub, and circulate, operate equipment safely under ALARA standards, and help maintain supply inventories while fostering rapport with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Vocational school graduate.
• (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer or (RCIS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cardiologist in invasive procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs.
• Monitor, scrub, and circulate during procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Maintain supply inventory and ensure availability.
• Establish rapport with fellow employees, medical staff and patients.
