Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to support invasive arrhythmia procedures, including pacemaker/defibrillator implantation and EP studies. You will assist with device programming, data collection, and monitoring during procedures.

The role requires credentials listed, at least 1 year in a cardiac cath lab, RCES within 1 year, and BLS within 30 days with ACLS/PALS within six months.

Qualifications

• Credential required: RN, RCIS, ARRT, RCES, IBHRE or NASPE.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a cardiac Cath lab.
• RCES must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS within 30 days; ACLS and PALS within six months.
• May cross-train to provide case support in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for arrhythmia procedures, including implantation of arrhythmia control devices (pacemakers and defibrillators), electrophysiology studies, and arrhythmia ablations.
• Assist with data collection, monitoring of physiologic signals, and preparation of clinical reports.
• Troubleshoot EP equipment and participate in protocol development and outcomes evaluation.
