Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist to join the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab on FT days. The role performs daily lab studies, ensuring safe and precise procedures in line with department policies.

Requirements include RCES preferred, BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association, and at least one year of EP lab experience. A cardiovascular, radiology, or respiratory program completion is expected.

Qualifications

• RCES certification preferred; BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association is required.
• Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, Radiology program or Respiratory program.
• One year of cardiac cath lab and EP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab; ensure studies are performed and recorded safely and professionally.
• Ensure procedural compliance with nationally published standards.

Position Purpose: Electrophysiology Technologist in the Cardiac Cath /EP Lab FT Days at St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA. $20,000 Sign on bonus (To be eligible for the sign on bonus, must have at least 1 yr experience as a EP Tech)

What you will do:

• Is responsible for the day to day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab and ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise and professional manner in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

• Responsible for assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards..

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: RCES certification preferred. BLS and ACLS thru American Heart Association is required.

• Education: Successful completion of an approved cardiovascular program, Radiology program or Respiratory program.

• Experience: One year of cardiac cath lab and EP experience is required.
