Baptist Health Care in Northwest Florida and south Alabama seeks an EP Technician to acquire, maintain, and apply knowledge of cardiac device therapies under physician supervision.
You will educate patients, assist with device interrogation and programming, document results, and maintain equipment and records. A high school diploma and BLS are required, with at least 6 months of healthcare experience.
The EP Technician acquires, maintains, and integrates knowledge of scientific principles, and derived technology-based interventions and therapies under the direct supervision of the physician. This position educates patients regarding procedures; addresses and communicates patient concerns regarding devices to physicians; administer, monitor and reprogram devices and maintains documentation of reported information.
