Sentara Heart Hospital, part of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, in Norfolk, VA, seeks an Electrophysiology Specialist for its Cardiac Cath/EP department. The role supports EP lab activities, mapping and ablation across four dedicated labs, with a multidisciplinary team delivering advanced cardiac care.

The department performs complex procedures with anesthesia support, and a generous sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS required.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist or RCIS/RCES eligible (registry) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate EP/Cath Lab procedures, mapping and ablation as part of a four-lab EP program.
• Support diagnostic catheterizations and complex structural heart procedures (TEE, TAVR, MitraClip).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
