Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an EP Nurse to provide direct patient care under the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. You will coordinate care, document accurately, and support physicians during interventional cardiac and peripheral studies.

Required are RN licensure, BSN or ASN, and at least 2 years of critical care experience (ICU/ER/EP Lab). This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional certification and education.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (ICU/ER/EP Lab).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React to emergencies as needed.
• Administer medications and IV conscious sedation under physician direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record and monitor hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

Job Summary And Qualifications

EP Nurse The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment. Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care while utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Participates in performance improvement activities. Provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statement. When acting in charge nurse role, registered nurses are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a therapeutic environment. Make staff assignments based on patient need, acuity and the skill of the staff. Serve as role models and clinical resource for the staff. Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff or patient issues.

What you will do in this role:

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• At least 2 years of critical care experience REQUIRED! ICU, ER, EP Lab
